At first I was disappointed when I said that it was a plain thin white box that it came in. Yes, it's just a box, but the Rift and Vive looked better. The cheap shiny plastic they put on the front is a mistake and doesn't fill in like it costs $500. If you choose to do so, the two main reasons for a return could be how cheap everything fills and the worst fit of any VR headset. I have a decent head so I hoped I would get lucky but no it wasn't a case. It bleeds slightly everywhere but worst in the nose to the point where I just gave up trying to adjust it. And that's the main problem. This $500 VR headset only has one adjustment knob on the back. No left and right, up or down WHY! Additional ways to adjust the headset would solve most of the problems. You can't have a good VR experience if you're distracted by light bleeding. It takes you out of the moment. Now for controllers so light and cheap that their $500 price tag is obnoxious. It looks like Samsung used the first prototype. The LED rings are big enough for a Mini Cooper to fit through. They're so big they'll always meet, and the fact that they're so light made me fill up like they're going to break sooner rather than later. Image in resolution in VR without SDE. Because it's okay, but not great. It was too soft for games, but I watched a movie with it. Impressive. It's like watching an iMax movie. Yes, you get light from the nose area, but I was so amazed at how it filled like a movie theater that I stopped thinking about it. No SDE. Exactly what looked like a HUGE cinema screen. I can't say that about games because 90% of the time you can't enjoy them because they don't fit and the controllers bang together with the lights. Once you've tested it, send it back quickly and get your money back, or just skip this generation and wait for 120Hz refresh rate kits to hit the market. I sincerely believe that 90Hz is too low for a good experience without nausea. And you'll get sick of flying, running, and fast-paced games with it like everyone else, but some people can develop a tolerance for it (not me), cheap top-to-bottom assembly, and not worth $500. But if you want to spend that amount to watch amazing movies in virtual reality then get it for it. The price should be around $199 before I look at it again. +2 stars for the great time watching the traffic and no SDE. -3 stars for cheap stuffing, poor fit, boring looks and inferior controllers.
