The springs in these things are way too strong. I got these to tide me over between piercings because I’m impatient, but it honestly would’ve been more comfortable to get the piercing and go through the healing process. The size is perfect. All of these people complaining that they’re huge have obviously not had piercings before. The metal is kind of weird though. It’s very fragile; in fact I dented one of mine holding it with clamps which wasn’t really my best idea, but they’re hard to put on, because the opening is so narrow. The color of the metal is also whiter and brighter than normal stainless steel body jewelry. Don’t try to use it for your daith, rook, lip, or conch. It’ll hurt way too much. Lobe should be fine, and depending on how fast you can get accustomed to the sensation, septum and nostril should be fine as well.
