Drilled a 1/2 wood drill bit a few inches into a hardwood stump with no problems
My old 3/8 Black and Decker couldn't, he couldn't drill wood drill bits into hardwood stump. Dewalt has a lot of torque, you need a grip to control it. Drilled a 1/2 wood drill bit a few inches into a hardwood stump with no trouble.
