I bought these based on the reviews and price. I used to always use brands. These are the worst sewing machine needles I have ever used. I had to send them back but the price was so low it wasn't worth the hassle. So what's wrong with them? So far I've broken 7 of them with less than a spool of thread. They wear out and snap the thread in the eye after a few cycles or so, but I couldn't sew more than 20-30 inches without snapping the thread in the eye. I have used different threads and different materials and always encountered the same problem. My family brand needles lasted months, that's minutes. If you really want to dissuade someone from sewing, buy them these needles, I'll buy branded needles and throw the rest away.
