I bought this kit to use for YouTube vlogging. I wanted to set it up with a Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Although this phone costs $1,000, the microphone is questionable at times. So this year I'm taking my sound a little more seriously and given the good reviews and the low price tag of around $100 I decided to bite the bullet. After purchasing and setting up, I didn't hear any noticeable difference in sound quality! And then the stand itself, where the ball mechanism is supposed to be fixed at the bottom, is not firmly fixed in the desired position. Still loose enough that the weight of my phone along with the mic tipped it over! Apart from that I have a very nice stand which is useless and a microphone which makes no comparable difference as if I had no microphone. I also bought a lavalier mic at the same time and got incredible sound quality and it was $22! Just not happy with this purchase. I wouldn't buy again and wouldn't recommend either
