I call clients, family, friends and anyone who uses this Jensen JTH940 headset with my cordless phone and I use it for every call I make I make and receive . Each of my landlines connects to one, and I keep one in the car for my cell phone. This has been my favorite headset for at least five years. And I've also been looking for a replacement for the past five years because I can be absolutely positive that it will wear out in about 9-12 months. However, I still buy it because it works, that is, until it stops working. Nothing lasts forever, but I really dislike having to fill up the landfill at least once a year by throwing all my worn-out sets there. But I couldn't find a suitable replacement even after paying $300 for a "professional install" that failed after 5 months. Sometimes the Jensen JTH940 headgear breaks, but I tape it back knowing that in two or three months the wire will reliably come loose and not deliver. When this happens, the impairment of hearing and being heard is so great that only an exchange is possible. I give 5 stars if it lasts longer, or costs $8, or if it's made of an eco-friendly material that will disintegrate once it stops working. On the plus side, I haven't found any other product that compares in terms of hassle-free, clear, and reliable sound on landline or cell phones. This headset will last a couple of years or more with occasional use, but will drop dead within a year when used by an active Yupper like me.
