We're hard on chairs and sofas so wanted to try and protect the armrests of our two new recliners. Purchased the gray and they matched perfectly. They are made from relatively heavy material that doesn't stretch. HOWEVER, that's what I wanted as these stay in place. My wife initially didn't like the pockets (thought they distracted from the looks of the chairs. )But when I pointed out that all you had to do was put the covers with the pockets on the inside only the smooth surface shows. When they arrived it turned out the pockets fit flat and don't show much anyway. Plus DW discovered they are a perfect place to put her tablet stylus. We intend to order two more sets of these covers in the near future.
