Review on Exo Terra Complete Internal Filter by Kimberly Allen

DANGEROUS! FEAR MY TURTLE HALF!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm oooooooooooooooh on these stupid filters. Bought 2 last week, installed last night, woke up at 3am to pee and my poor turtle was in the corner of her tank (not her usual sleeping nook or next to her favorite rock) with head held high, absolutely STONE, because one of the 2 filters (the one next to her sleeping stone) made this absolutely horrible scream and my poor kid was so scared I've never been so angry! So those were removed from my turtle tank at 3am. She now uses the filter I had in her 20 gallon tank and nothing else. I have her 55 gallon tank about half full and had 2 of these filters and a 20 gallon tetra filter, I completely replaced the tank last night and this morning her tank was so gross. These filters are the worst, if you love your baby in a bowl, stay away from him as much as possible! I recommend the zoo med scuba filter for 30 gallon aquariums. I have 2 in my new 40 gallon tank with 3 turtles and they work AMAZING. They even create bubbles of oxygen. So if you know anything about aquariums, oxygen bubbles are GREAT for your aquarist community. So I'm happy with them. They're a little more expensive than my price but worth every penny and still fairly cheap. Plus, they're compact, so you can use more than one tank without taking up a lot of space! Hope this helps everyone. Please take my experience and learn from it, it's not worth it. Our animals are too precious to us and it's important that all of us Revain customers help each other and leave feedback like this so people can make an informed purchasing decision.
