Review on Clover 9901 Couture 🍀 Embroidery Single Sewing Refill Kit by Tara Ford

I have used the Kantan Clover needle consistently for the past two years. I really like how much easier this process is with this tool. I usually have 2-3 spares in case one breaks while I'm at it. I bought two replacements a week ago and BOTH replacements broke within 10 minutes of use. When I mounted and screwed the first replacement, it kept slipping out of the wooden handle at first, which was very annoying, but I didn't put much effort into it. . Within a few minutes of use, the spring/tab of the needle has shifted noticeably. Again, I didn't put much emphasis on it because I thought it must be my/my technique, but then it happened a second time. When I put in the second replacement, the spring stopped working after a few minutes; The bolt doesn't bounce back and forth properly, in fact it didn't bounce at all, as if there weren't a spring. I've never had a Clover kantan needle that lasted so short. I've had needles that took months, multiple projects, and thicker materials than the kind I'm working on (canvas), so I don't know why the last two literally took under 20 minutes together. Maybe it was a bad batch. I don't know why the last two literally added less than 20 minutes to my life together. Maybe it was a bad batch.
