Spring has sprung!

I love working with my kantan needle - it's so much fun. After my last needle broke (after a year of continuous use), I ordered this replacement. Within the first 15 minutes of use, the spring popped out and ruined the stitching and fabric. What the hell? Luckily, Revain helped me with the exchange. It would be great if there were videos/tutorials on the internet on what to do if the spring won't jump. I've played with it for several hours with no success. Even a simple diagram would be cool…

Ease of use If you already have a pen

I had previously bought a set of tambourine needles which takes some practice so thought I might give this product a try. I received the item and found that the body is flat unlike my old needle which has a round body like regular crochet hooks. I put it in my wooden handle and it worked great. He didn't speak while I was working with him. It is very easy to use compared to those without a latch. I am certainly not suggesting that the more traditional non-retainer needles are not preferred. bad party?

I have used the Kantan Clover needle consistently for the past two years. I really like how much easier this process is with this tool. I usually have 2-3 spares in case one breaks while I'm at it. I bought two replacements a week ago and BOTH replacements broke within 10 minutes of use. When I mounted and screwed the first replacement, it kept slipping out of the wooden handle at first, which was very annoying, but I didn't put much effort into it. .
