I was so excited when they got delivered today (love the free next day shipping) that I was finally able to remove and replace the carrier bearings on my Dana Differential 44HD . The transmission mount came off fairly easily with my Milwaukee 2763-22 M18 1/2" impact wrench. Lots of force. I then worked on the first of the two main mounts. " from the PTO shaft, but it eventually came off a 2nd with some persuasion .5 pound single socket and a pneumatic impact socket for impact. Removing the bearing spacer was a different story. I noticed as I tightened the nuts that they spalled metal shavings as they rotated against the body of the clamp. After removing them I also noticed that the threaded shanks lost quite a bit of thread Shaft screw dividers back onto the opposite trunnion and I could barely separate the bearing from the base when the divider failed completely. Cutting an old threaded rod in half and buying new threaded shafts and nuts I will never need it again but I guess I expected my money to be a little further than one use. I would not recommend this tool for this job.
