Good luck removing the original lever!
Needed a puller to remove the original lever. Couldn't remove mine, most likely without damaging the motor assembly, and instead left the original socket in place as it wasn't damaged. Replaced the mounting spring with a blade and discarded the "bushing" that attaches to the motor assembly. The new arm/blade is also about an inch shorter than the original.
