As an architect I can be pickier than most, although I know they haven't even been tested for 'lower' high-end installs, when used in residential areas in public places. or research etc. The diffuser sits too low on the ceiling and due to the color rendering index is only suitable for very functional lighting. I wouldn't even use them in the laundry room as the color accuracy isn't great. I have a few in my own house in 2 basement closets (I wouldn't want to use them in closets again because the color rendering isn't great. Installation was easy, I bought them because they're inexpensive, we need them around ours built in lighting frame after repainting and the cost of new frames for these lights is about what I paid for a full set of leds I bought a new frame for this light from my office and paired it with a Soraa Par30 Short coupled neck bulb instead for better light quality/color/beam spread/atmosphere.
