Review on Nalgene 💧 OTF Everyday Water Bottle by Roger Weinmunson

I love Nalgene bottles, have bought a dozen or more over the years. This is my first case with an OTF (on the fly) cover and I doubt its durability. 3 weeks since purchase everything was fine but I'm worried. There is a small plastic tab that keeps it closed. The tab looks like it could easily be snapped off. Then the only way to keep it closed is to use the wire tie that goes around the top clasp. It works, but it's a little awkward to put on and take off. As I was preparing to write this review I saw a number of other reviews from people saying they have mold in their OTF cap which they found. could not be cleaned with vinegar, hot soapy water, etc. This is pretty worrying. So I don't know how long it will be, but so far so good. No leakage even when stored upside down or on its side (which you don't). Fits in my car cup holder. Just the right size.
