When I first received this camera, I had to charge it for a while because it comes with absolutely no charger. Also, by default, recording starts the moment a USB power source (such as a car DVR) is plugged into it. While you can change this in the settings, it can be quite annoying if you're only using it as an action camera (although that's just my opinion). The timestamp can be toggled on and off at will, although it comes with an optional rear door with holes so you can get the sound inside the waterproof case or even clip it to your belt (although this makes the 'waterproof case no longer.' waterproof") ALL don't sound as good as if you didn't have a bag at all, and the camera does NOT come with a 1/4-20 top and bottom tripod mount that comes with most other cameras like this one. (I wish it would be like this). I do love the fact that this camera has an "anti-shake" mode, but it's a double-edged blessing. The stabilizer works in photo mode but NOT in video mode.
