Review on ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ TapHanger Picture Frame Mounting Kit by Summer Hendricks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Not bad and certainly lighter

The oven mitts that come with the kit are a little flimsy if you're not careful and generally put a lot of lateral force on them by being driven or pushed into the frame B. on the wall, they can snap right down the middle, but with a little care, they work as advertised and they make getting frames exactly where you want them much easier than fumbling with 3M hooks and picture wire. Another thing to watch out for are frames with thicker enamel finishes. Most of my (cheap wood) frames were just painted wood and they worked great, but one of my frames had some kind of hard enamel coating on the outside that nails didn't like going through. A piece of enamel chipped off on the first try, just enough to poke through the small hole, but the first nail broke when the hole was made, slightly damaging the back of the frame. In the end, however, it worked.
