This is a surprisingly good bike helmet for $24. I have a larger head (hat size 7.5 which is large but not XL). Hats and helmets of the same size usually run small for me, but this one fits me. I wouldn't mind a deeper fit, but the diameter is roomy enough. The dial on the back of the helmet should help it fit medium sized heads, but smaller heads should look elsewhere. The helmet straps are easily adjustable for a secure, comfortable fit, but there's no way to lock in the fit like more expensive helmets. The cushioning inside the helmet is minimal but I like it as it leaves more room for my head. Branded helmets often come with thicker and thinner pads to customize your fit, but this one doesn't. The helmet has plenty of vents and I love that the front vents have a thin mesh cover inside the helmet to keep bees and other bugs out. Mistake. This helmet comes with a removable visor to keep the sun out of your eyes. I took off my visor as it prevents me from seeing cars when driving in traffic. The taillight isn't very bright, but it helps to get the attention of distracted drivers, especially if you also have a bright steady light. your bicycle. The light runs in flashing mode for several hours (I'm the one who uses day and night) so I have to charge it after almost every ride. There are stickers inside the helmet to indicate that it is CE (Europe) and GB (China) compliant. ) safety standards. "CPSC" (USA) is also printed on the underside of the CE label. Very odd that there isn't a separate CPSC security sticker. I'm hoping this helmet actually meets US safety standards as I've heard of Revain helmets not meeting safety standards. 3 stars for quality + 1 star for cheap price = 4 stars.
