As all garments are different, follow the sizing guidelines. They fit my son perfectly for the boy scouts. He is 5'2" and 80 lbs. A 14 fits perfectly. Other brands require him to be a 16 so follow their instructions. I would say these are a bit large. They are a good weight and quality. They seems sturdy and well made..I would like to buy the next size up for later.They are much cheaper than the official Boy Scout pants and I think they look even better.Same olive color.
