My family and I have just returned from a 3 week holiday in Europe. These adapters worked wonderfully. I took the E/F and C with me. Some of the newer accommodations we stayed in had surge protectors that came out of the wall, so it was nice to have an E/F adapter (the C adapter worked in these plugs just as well). . .Advice for travelers! I bought these adapters and then a Belkin 3 Surge Protector with two USB ports. It was the best decision I've ever made. Since the voltage in Europe is 240V, I charged my computer and iPad from outlets and my phone and camera from a USB port (USB ports didn't fry my phone and camera). All of this electronics easily charged overnight and was ready to go in the morning. It was nice to have extra plugs, but you need to make sure you ONLY plug in electronics that can run on 240v! And when you buy a Belkin, you also have a surge protector to use when you come back. to the states.
