As an old surfer, hailing from SoCal, I love a good pair of board shorts! Everything from the cut to the fabric to the features on these trunks have been well thought out and beautifully executed. And while a true board short would likely not have a mesh liner (or elastic), I admit that I do like liners in mine. The fabric has a nice "hand”, as you can see in the video. And these can easily double as hybrid shorts because of the pockets and the cut. I’ll admit to having a little extra weight around the middle. These trunks really flatter the body, with the combination of elastic in the back and a traditional board short lace-up front. They come just below the knee, which is just the way I like them. I can’t say enough great things about these!
