Review on LunchBots Thermal Triple Insulated Container by Katie Harris

I bought this product primarily because of the rustproof lid - we try to avoid plastic, especially when it comes to hot food. It's also a smaller size that's great for kids. The product looks good and keeps food warm. Inside, however, there are two seams - a ring-shaped one on the bottom and one on the sides. Even much cheaper grades of stainless steel are cast as one continuous unit, so I'm not sure why there could be such large seams here. You can stick your fingernail in the hole and I wonder what else is in there. What else does the hot food come into contact with or what chemicals are leached into the food. I am returning the product and using the only other brand that also has stainless steel lids. These are much larger containers but I'd like to try and see if their design is any better.
