Don't listen to the opinions that this is not for home theater, first in 16:9 stretch mode it looks good 1080i looks good from my Comcast HD, also I use a panasonic dvd recorder with 1080p upconvert, and my movies look great buy a dvi to hdmi cable with hdmi switch and you will be fine good contrast 2200-1 lumen 2300 in full mode eco mode 1800 very bright lamp costs about $250 right now bought After a year of use I just love mine!
