I should have read more reviews, I had the same problem as other people. The ladder bolts are held in this rattle by nuts instead of staying in place. If you unscrew the bolt all the way, the nut will fall out, leaving you unable to tighten anything. The only way to install is to back out the screw by hand as far as you can until it is tight and held, and then try to push the wire down around the screw. But because it doesn't screw into the body, but is a real free-floating nut, the screw pushes further in instead of staying out. Plan on spending an hour or more with a pair of needle-nosed pliers, a pickaxe, a couple of screwdrivers, and lots of swearing. Hopefully the engineers have a lukewarm afterlife for that.
