Runs small on girls
My son is 6 years old, weighs 61 pounds and is 48 inches tall. I ordered 8-9 because I'd rather have it big than too small, it fits almost perfectly. There is still enough space underneath for a layer of clothing that is not too bulky. My son liked it and said it was comfortable.
