Since I was blonde I have used several foundations and this one is my favourite. It's very strong, so my advice to you is "less is better." I mean if it's your first time using it and don't know how long to keep it, choose less time. For example, I left the product on for 3 minutes for the first time. It definitely softened the copper tone of my hair, but it wasn't quite the silver I wanted to achieve. I waited a few days and after a few shampoos I tried again and let it sit for about 6 minutes and it was quite a silver tint. So it really depends on what color you want to achieve. I'm trying to keep up with the silver blonde that seems to be trending right now. I am very happy with this product and I hope more people in the US learn about it. A NOTICE.
