The handle came a little misaligned and I had to put the plastic pieces together. It still doesn't sit flush, but the steamer seems to be working fine. A load to the max line allows me to vape about one product. This is perfect for me as I don't want to dump the rest of the water if I decide to steam just one item. The steamer heats up fairly quickly (about 20-30 seconds) and I didn't get any water splashes from the top unless I accidentally filled it slightly above the max line. The steamer does its job well, I am happy with the purchase. The mitten that comes with the kit is not very thick and is practically useless as it doesn't leave much dexterity to handle the steamer or clothes. However, a cloth pouch is useful for storing the steamer and chord. Transparency: I would have written this review anyway, but received a steam card that said if I wrote a review I would get a travel size wrinkle remover. What I have said is my honest, personal opinion.
