I bought this item as a gift for my little puppy for Christmas thinking she wouldn't let me dress it herself as she doesn't like any of the outfits she's wearing. Surprisingly, it had rained recently and I was able to throw a raincoat over her. She is a terrier mix and weighs about 9 pounds. Her measurements are 12" back, 10" neck and 16" chest. The size XS fitted her perfectly and it was really amazing to see her in appropriate clothing. nice and dry. I was concerned that her harness combined with wearing that cloak might make her less mobile, but she was very mobile and I think a little calmer than usual; I'm not sure if it was just an adaptation to wearing a cloak, as she usually only wears a harness, anyway I was able to easily tuck her into my coat with the harness on and the strap connection at the back of the leash was also no problem, you can see how I held her on the leash in the picture Overall I am very happy with this product. My pup has gotten the wanderlust and loves to explore even in the rain This coat did a really good job keeping him dry as much as any raincoat does It looks great I think it feels great - the M used materials help keep it dry inside and a little warm, while other raincoats are just a plastic poncho – who wants cold plastic touching them when it rains? When I took my coat off, I didn't feel any moisture on the inside of the coat, which is what one would expect and expect. The great thing about this coat is that it now requires less drying when it's been outside in the rain. Ellie Dog Wear, thank you for this wonderful product.
