Simple plug and play: Towbar Accessory
This is a very simple setup that gets the job done. It comes completely ready to use, just plug it into your existing wiring harness and connect a small wire to the battery. If you've ever run a battery cable for a sound system or similar, it should be very easy. The passenger footwell has a grommet that accepts the factory wiring harness which can easily accommodate another cable of this size. You can then thread the plug for your trailer from the outside of the car through the small rubber plug in the rear corner of the passenger side spare wheel well.
