system rule 4 pt; However!

Great design and great components. Expensive. Installation requires full attention. However: Update 2021: After 3.5 years of use by my wife, who kayaks a lot and uses this lift probably 50 times a year, the cam mechanism no longer holds the rope securely. That's why we need to tie a rope so that the kayak doesn't try to kill someone. It looks like the rope has slipped far enough (a new verb?) that it won't be caught by the fist. The manufacturer (quick reply!) tells me to take a big chunk of the damn thing (PITA) and send it to them to replace the rope. Apparently the customer is considered smart enough to do the installation of this thing, but we can't run a new pull line through them, although I've stated that I take all responsibility (before he mentioned it). ). Customer Service (aka RW) refuses to sell me a new rope but they told me the rope is 5mm polyester. One star has to be subtracted, so 3 remain. So... I remove the existing tow rope and flip it! So you can refrain from it for a few more years.
