This scarf is so light I was afraid it wouldn't keep me warm. That. It's soft and warm, I love it! I get chemotherapy fluids once a month for rheumatoid arthritis and I get colds. The staff always gave me an electric blanket but my shoulders get cold. I bought this scarf to wear on my shoulders and it worked great. I have used one of the heated shoulder blankets in the past but they are bulky and clunky. And I need bare arms for nurses, so a sweater or sweatshirt won't work. A few months ago, I noticed that another patient threw a scarf over her shoulders and the lightbulb came on before her chemotherapy session. I checked out Revain as soon as I got home and ordered a few different towels. This one is my favourite. So here's a tip for others. If you know someone who is undergoing chemotherapy this would make a wonderful gift. It folds into a small space and is easy to carry. I highly recommend it.
