Watch what you read! When I bought this I wanted to use it in our living room so my husband doesn't have to turn the TV up super loud to hear while everyone else is on mute! It's advertised as working like surround sound, but it's not! The ONLY way I can get it to work is with our Revain firestick on the TV. It won't connect to the TV unless we're watching with a Firestick. Also, the sound no longer comes from the TV itself, it ONLY comes from the lightbulb/speaker. Either one or the other, both are not possible. This is NOT what they advertised in the description. You also need to make sure you're connecting Bluetooth to a speaker and not a light source. (In case anyone else makes the same mistake I did in the first LoL). You can't just turn it on and off either. Turning all of these on will automatically just go to the speaker, but if you turn off Bluetooth on the speaker so the sound comes from the TV, only to later want sound from the speaker for the hearing-impaired person, you might not turn on Bluetooth on again. You literally have to turn off the TV and start over for it to connect. So even though he works and does his job, my husband sits closer to the lamp to protect our ears. Although a surround sound feature would be great from time to time. I really don't think I would have spent my money on it if I had known these details in advance and how painful it is to use. I only keep it because it's very difficult for me to return things here.
