I've been wearing these shoes for a while now but I like the fit, more European with narrower heels than the too wide heels sold in the US to fit every foot. Sales-oriented last selection. And good soles, I recently bought a pair of old name boots for $400 that are now just fake old name boots. They came with soles through which I can feel every stone. These Asics shoes are way better than these boots. You can walk in them off the sidewalk. I can also use them for long bike rides, even after a few hours of heavy use I don't feel the pedals through them. They don't carry much dirt on the sole like some do. The heel loop is big enough to slip into if you haven't loosened the laces enough.
