Cast iron protrusions will break off rendering this product unusable!

The tabs that hold the little springs to operate the stop lever are pretty flimsy. Because it's cast iron. If this part was steel or solid, the springs could be fixed in place for more control, it would work better. Because IT IS NOT USELESS.
