Works as expected. It is easy to assemble and attach to the bike. The key is to line up the magnet on the wheel. The first time I brought it too close, it hit another "receiver" on the bike. I moved it around a bit and after that everything seems fine. I've been using it for over a month and it does what it's supposed to do and reports all the stats as the manuals say. I'm not sure how accurate they are, but they seem pretty accurate and that's good enough for me. Cons: My only concern is that the magnet I attached to the wheel will one day fall off and render this whole block useless. The magnet is in a plastic case and attached to the spokes and doesn't work very reliably. June 2012 update. I've used it for about 300 miles or so. The only issue I had last month was that the clamp holding the device to the bike was loose and I was worried it would fall off. And it happened a few weeks ago when I was going over a bump in the road and it fell off my bike onto the road. When I was going down the hill and had some speed, he pushed 20-30 times before stopping. When I picked it up and put it back it stopped working. Since it worked without any further problems and all other attachments were intact, I decided to give it another try and bought another one. Last week I wanted to get another one for my racing bike and I decided to do it. instead the Schwinn 20-function bike computer. This one also has a calorie counter, but it's bigger. Updated August 2014. The new one I bought in 2012 and the other Schwinn mentioned above both work. A few times they even got wet when it was raining while the bikes were on the trunk in the back of the car and I was driving. The rain doesn't seem to have affected his work. Also, I didn't have to change the batteries on any of them.
