Review on 🎡 Jensen 3-Speed Stereo Turntable with Integrated Speakers by Jeremy Mondragon

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Sounds absolutely terrible, other technical issues.

First I hooked it up to my Yamaha home receiver and an Orb mini-T amp and it sounded horrible on both (tried RCA and 3.5mm aux on receiver, 3 .5m to Sphere) . The low-frequency response was completely absent; It's just that that part of the signal didn't even come out on any of those connections. This works via the built-in speakers, which sound about as good as playing music through a 2003 mobile phone speaker. I decided to save some money because with the technology available today, how can you screw up a turntable? Apparently pretty easy. When using the Aux or RCA outputs, the internal speaker never turns off completely either. I suspect it's part of the output issue, but it's an absolutely devastating design flaw that renders this thing utterly useless unless you're using it for internal speakers and nothing else (which I would never recommend). I'm sending it back, which I don't normally do because it's almost certainly the worst product I've bought in years. It's not working properly, and in the time it took to get it working I didn't realize it was because of its defect. it's really just a piece of junk. Spend your money on something better that does justice to the expensive vinyl records you're likely to damage playing them with.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Nothing
