Odd size is the best in my rating
Bought these for my 4 year old. They fit well in length but anything else is too loose and he has Fred Flintstone wide legs. When it comes to shoes, we usually have the opposite problem. They are usually too long because we need to be sure we can fit his wide leg inside. The fact that they're too loose makes them a trip hazard, but he wears them so seldom that we just put up with it.
