I bought this to switch USB headset between two computers and NVidia Shield. For this purpose it works fine. My biggest complaint is the same as many others: the LED lights that are supposed to tell you which computer is selected are so dim they're almost non-existent. The world of ultra bright LEDs used the smallest and most dimmable LEDs available. Worse, they're recessed beneath the surface of the case, so you can't see them unless you're looking directly at them. If it's on your desk and you look at it from any angle, you won't see any light at all, making the display utterly useless. I used 2 methods to get around this. First, because the selector works in a circle, when I know it's on #2 and I want to select #1, I just count the button presses and press 3 times (#3, #4, #1 ). Second, if I don't remember which one is selected, I trigger the sound on the device I want, then press the button until I hear it. I'm thinking of putting a small mirror on top of the switch to see if I can redirect the light at a visible angle. I'm not sure if this works, but it's worth a try. Overall it's a bit of a PITA with no usable indicator light, but there aren't many 4-device USB switches to choose from (most are just 2 devices for some reason) and unfortunately it still seems to be one of the best.
