I don't know what they poured on this rope during production, but it's not what I need in my area. Smells very chemical and disgusting. This is not what I want my kittens to chew. If you're using this outdoors outside of humans to fix some gates, it's probably of little use. But if you want to use it on pet furniture or where people hang out, don't buy it. It smells bad and every time you stop by you will regret it.
