I am very happy with this purchase. Having bought what seemed to me a plastic injector at a very reasonable price, I quickly realized that it was garbage. It's only helpful if you want to inject a clear liquid. My Maranaids, like most, contain spices. I threw the old one in the trash, but I seriously wanted to throw it against the wall. It's so frustrating how he kept getting constipated. NO problem with that. You can literally bring in chopped garlic with it. Does not clog, very durable and easy to clean.
