Review on BONMIXC Bicycle Pedals Cycling Bearing by Joshua Reid

Amazingly good looking but seems to be falling apart after 3 months

I don't usually write reviews but would happily buy again. First of all these pedals look great, they are immaculately finished and really bring my red and black bike closer together. The aluminum is anodized and everything around looks very nice. They're not much bigger than a regular plastic pedal and feel pretty solid when you first get them. I really liked them for the first few weeks of use. BUT in the 3 months since I've had them, they started ringing every time I put my foot on them and felt weird. I checked my hand for play and oh my god there is play towards the grip. I decided to take it apart and see if it could be fixed, so I removed a nice CNC aluminum dust cap. Underneath was a nut that attached to the end of the pedal axle. This nut was NOT solved. I removed the nut, there was a cartridge chamber underneath, so far so good. I carefully removed the entire pedal from the pedal axle and found that there is only one real "bearing", also closer to the crank are 3 wear surfaces that act as lubricated motor bearings. Seems ok but when I put everything back and tighten the nut there is still play in both pedals. They have lots of lube and only about 200 miles on them.
