Review on Keyless Entry Remote Key Fob by Luckie Davidson

Read through. It worked while I was in the truck. I started walking towards my house and it worked I didn't. I thought maybe I didn't "finish" the programming properly, so I did it again. No joy. I replaced the battery and reprogrammed. Still no joy. Works when you're inside 2 feet from the truck. Is the antenna broken? Do I have a lemon?, curious people want to know, and I have an egg on my face. After programming the remote, the range was terrible. But just like the range on the original remote. Also for fresh batteries.Maybe it wasn't the remote!After Googling I found a thread on the Chevy Avalanche Board about this guy also having trouble with the remote. Discussions back and forth pointed to a number of third-party cables for off-road lights and whatnot. I don't have such a thing, but I have a Nulaxy KM29 bluetooth adapter that plugs into the "cigarette lighter". I shrugged. This pup came out and now both the original remote and this one have reasonable range. I'm increasing my rating to 5. This remote does exactly what I need it to do.
