Review on 🏻 Fizik Performance Road Handlebar Gel Pads: Enhance Comfort and Control on the Road by Rick Rogers

I used this Fizik thick film gel tape on my aluminum frame road bike. Aluminum bikes always seem like a tough ride to me, but that (and the thick bar tape) absorbs any bumps. I have small tires (23) and they don't absorb shock very well so a shim is required. They fit easily under tape and are sticky enough to hold in place during installation, but won't leave a sticky film if you need to remove them later (e.g. to replace a cable). If in doubt, just buy it. . You're already checking it out and reading the reviews, you're wondering if it's worth it, so just go for it, you won't regret it, especially on longer rides and crappy tarmac.
