Works well and is safe for children
I used to have hot glue guns but I was afraid to give them to my under 12 grandchildren. I searched and read reviews and finally decided to buy this hot glue gun. Good product. It heats up fairly quickly and stays warm for the duration of use. The kids liked to glue them and were not afraid of getting burned - yes, the glue at the outlet of the gun is quite warm, and the tip is hot, but the problem of sticking is minimized. The only flaw I find is that the "stand" part of the handle is quite wobbly - I'd recommend getting a glue gun stand for extra security. The downside is the fact that they are tied with a string, which limits the range of use.
