I am embarrassed to admit that I rarely use my Oreck vacuum as much as I should. I bought these bags after sale and used one but had many problems attaching the bag. Okay, thought it was just me as I'm not the most tech-savvy person. I wanted to replace the bag and it was full of dirt on the outside of the bag. I thought, um, is that me? Again struggled trying to insert the bag. Finally installed but it seemed to me that it didn't fit very well. Today I brought the vacuum cleaner to Orek to replace the brush. Had brought bags so the maintenance staff could show me how to install it. He opened it and all the dirt was out. He replaced the brush and then gave me an original Oreck bag and showed me the difference in the bags. Oh god what's the difference. The original bag had holes on each side and the box lid was slightly shorter than the fake. The biggest difference was that the hole meant to cover the entrance of the bag was not the same as the hole for the vacuum. As a result, bags in the Oreck store are $35 for 8 pieces. I ordered the same bags from Revain for $13 and changed them today and they are really good. .
