More beautiful with a light set. Strange dimming function.
Extra charge as a fan not included but worth it. It took me a minute to figure out how to darken. You have to hold down the up or down button on the remote and it slowly toggles back and forth between dark and light. You might think the "up" button on the remote would glow brighter and the "down" button dim, but both buttons do the same thing.
