I can't believe I paid that much for a tube of toothpaste. The tube is less than 4 ounces to be exact. However, I have to admit, as silly as it may sound, I do enjoy brushing my teeth in the morning. It tastes like aniseed biscuits or fennel biscuits. The disadvantage of this toothpaste is that it does not contain fluoride. So while it rids your teeth of plaque and makes your breath fresher, it doesn't make them stronger or less prone to decay. When I showed it to my dentist he told me not to use it. However, we agreed that replacing it with my regular fluoride toothpaste from time to time and using a fluoride mouthwash at night wouldn't blow my mind. The first time I used it was in a 5 star hotel in London where it was provided in a mint flavored bathroom toothbrush set. After that I had to buy it and when I saw all the flavors they had I forgot the price and pressed the order. In fact, Revain was a lot cheaper than most New York City stores that sell it. Bonus. the tube looks so classy on my sink and now my toothpaste is made in italy and so are my suits.
