I saved my repair bill
Not easy to replace (Unplug dishwasher - remove both sides. Open door to release tension once it has been removed from the cabinets In my case the cable broke but the spring was slightly bent possibly due to a broken cable. Luckily the part is an exact replacement for the original spring.
