This really works as advertised. I've dreamed of doing something like this for over 30 years, but I was too lazy to do it myself. For me they reduce the wind noise in my ear by 80-90%, a normal one would be too long for my strap. The only downside I found was the thickness that matched my helmet straps. I have a Giro Register MIPS helmet and the ear straps are sewn on and cannot be adjusted or lengthened. The instructions say to mount the silencer with the thickest part inside the strap next to the head, but for me this made the strap uncomfortably tight. So I just flipped them over and attached the thickly padded section to the outside of the Wind-Blox logo strap next to the head. Sorry Wind-Blox, no one will see the logo now. Oh well! Overall, I recommend Wind-Blox for reducing wind noise. I wish I had a few years ago!
