Loved it! used it for our jack russell who was our ring bearer at our wedding. Everyone liked it and complimented how cute the dog looked. Before buying I dared twice because of the previous reviews. I would tell you yes, there are fake rings attached to it as you see in the picture. Of course, you can remove the fake rings and attach them yourself, but you'll need to sew on strings to hold them in place. We decided to leave it as is because it made sense. Lots of reasons: 1) We didn't want to worry about the extra step of attaching the pillow so we could put the real ones in. 2) If we put real ones, then we removed them from the pillow at the time of the ceremony. would take a lot of time and pain. 3) We didn't want our rings to get lost in the grass if accidentally dropped. Thoughts like "What if the dogs move too much and you can't find where they felt?" 4) Humans get the message, but they won't. Notice from a distance how the rings look, or the weather or not, real or not. I would either pin the pillow to the dog's clothing (if applicable) when he moves. Or tie it really tight so it doesn't hit the dog's tummy when it jumps. All in all this is an amazing product. We lost it at the end of the night but I'd like to keep it as a souvenir but that's what photos are for anyway!
