I haven't put up a Christmas tree in years. This year I decided to buy a Christmas tree, but I needed something that was quick and easy to set up, easy to save, and based on an app. It hit all of those points. This is a pop up tree so it comes boxed with a pole and stand. After assembling the stand, simply cover a piece of wood and you have a tree. The lights are also draped and only needs to be straightened the strings of lights. Setup only took a few minutes. The tree is a bit crooked and I couldn't get it to stand quite straight, but it's not too noticeable. Arranging the fairy lights was the hardest physical part. The app is pretty bare. It took a while to connect and using the app at first was confusing, but in the end it's better and easier than the included remote control. fair warning; I have a tree next to my TV and my TV remote (Samsung) turns on the light. The star doesn't go out either. I installed a simple plastic wooden fence I found at Revain and it mostly keeps cats away. She still managed to get under the tree a few times, but she has yet to topple it, so it's definitely a win.
